Permits Required Ellen Browning Scripps Park (1133 Coast Blvd., La Jolla, CA) is the most photographed spot in San Diego according to AAA magazine, this is a very popular spot for weddings in La Jolla. Permits are issued year round, with a maximum number of 80 September through May and 50 during the summer months of June through August. Not all weekend days will be available for permits due to many different venues that happen at this park during the summer months. Only one permit per day is issued for this site. Permits issued for wedding ceremonies are allotted up to four hours, including the set up and breakdown. Food/BeveragesFood is allowed onsite but no glass containers.
